I have the great pleasure to announce the 2nd Clichy Chess Festival on July 2nd and 3rd.  

After two difficult years for everyone, we particularly want to offer you a show and a tournament of the highest quality. We have therefore planned to increase the price to €5,000, to broadcast 8 games via the Internet, and to allow the attendance of 200 players, while offering supporters and spectators live commentary by grand masters in a dedicated room.  

The reigning world champion Alexandra Kosteniuk, our Clichoise star, also world champion in rapid games, will honor us with her participation!

Saturday will be devoted to schools and will highlight the training effort that the City of Clichy has been perpetuating for more than 10 years. A meeting between two schools around a giant chessboard will be animated on the forecourt of the town hall, and will be doubled by two simultaneous (1 player against several) in the gardens, for amateurs wishing to rub shoulders with a Master of Chess and try their luck, just send us an email (see below).

This festival is made possible by the enthusiasm and desire of the City of Clichy, an "active and sporting" city, to promote sport and chess and to offer quality shows and activities to Clichois.  

It is also supported by our partner Clichy Mécénat.

This whole festival will take place at the town hall of Clichy, in its magnificent salons and optimal conditions, you can register now, I'll give you an appointment on July 2 and 3, to share the festivities!
