Clichy Echecs 92 winner of the lower group of the TOP16

This year again the TOP16, which brings together the 16 best teams in France, took place in Chartres from June 4 to 14.

After a difficult start with 1/2 in the first 5 rounds, our team managed to bounce back to finally win the last 5 rounds and take first place in the lower group.

We will note once again the exceptional performance of Loek Van Wely at around 2690 Elo, a very good performance from our new recruit Sergeï Fedorchuk, and a good score also from Axel Delorme.

However, we will need to strengthen ourselves next year for greater peace of mind.
